God has called Mike to follow Him through a unique ministry journey in his 52 years of ministry. He’s been a Sr. Pastor, a church planter, served as an associate pastor over the pastoral staff, a worship pastor, a youth pastor, a missions pastor, a discipleship pastor, an evangelism pastor, a church administrator, and a pastor over prayer. He’s served churches that were congregational-led, deacon-led, pastor, staff-led and elder-led. The worship has been traditional, blended, or contemporary. They have had traditional Sunday School and or community small groups. He has served churches of every size. One grew from 4 to 200 in attendance, another grew from 200 to 2000, and another grew from 200 to 4000. He has served churches in rural, suburban, and city settings. He has been coaching and mentoring pastors for the last 25 years and loves to invest in the next generation of pastors. He received his education from Samford University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
