Richard serves as the Pastor of Benvenue Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. He and his wife, Nicole, have been married since 2007, and they have two children: Laura and Sam. Richard has been in the ministry since 2007. He graduated from Southeastern College at Wake Forest in December of 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. He graduated from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Graduate School in December of 2009 with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies and in December 2011 with a Master of Divinity. He is a 2023 graduate of Tar Heel Leadership and now serves as the Assistant Producer at the Rocky Mount location.
